Atune Audio for Audiobookshelf
Play audiobooks by chapter, read EPUB ebooks in-app, and listen to ABS podcasts from your self-hosted Audiobookshelf server — with progress sync, continue listening, and offline downloads.
What is Audiobookshelf?
Audiobookshelf is self-hosted server software for audiobooks, ebooks, and podcasts. You run it on your own hardware to organize and stream collections you own — with progress tracking, metadata, and multi-user support.
How Atune Audio works with Audiobookshelf
Add your Audiobookshelf server in Settings → Music Server Settings with your URL and credentials. Atune Audio connects directly from your Android device to browse audiobooks, ebooks, and read-only ABS podcast libraries. Playback and reading progress sync back to your server when supported.
Audiobookshelf is separate from music servers in Atune Audio — you can connect one ABS server on the free tier, or multiple with Pro. Music from Jellyfin, Emby, or Navidrome lives in the same app alongside your ABS library.

Why use Atune Audio with Audiobookshelf?
Audiobookshelf's official apps cover audiobooks and podcasts across platforms. Atune Audio adds a unified Android experience if you also listen to music from Jellyfin, Emby, or Navidrome — with one search screen, one Downloads hub for offline content across media types, and Android Auto with Pro.
The built-in EPUB reader means you do not need a separate ebook app for titles already in your Audiobookshelf library. Continue-reading and offline access flow through the same Downloads hub as audiobooks and podcasts.
